Support Families During the Holidays with Boredom Buster Boxes!
Showcasing student leadership, compassion, and teamwork, the Boredom Buster Boxes project helps provide essential support to families in need during the holiday season. Students from local schools have come together to gather donations, pack boxes, and make a meaningful difference in their communities.
Students recognised the need for support outside of school hours, when families often face a gap in essential resources.
To meet this need, they’ve created Boredom Buster Boxes filled with essential items together with their peers.
Each Boredom Buster Box includes:
Nutritious snacks and non-perishable foods
Easy meal items to sustain a family over the holiday period
Fun activities and games to keep children engaged
Through this initiative, students not only learn valuable life skills but also make a lasting impact in their communities. By working together to write letters to local businesses, coordinate donations, and pack the boxes, they’re helping ensure families have the resources they need to get through the holidays.
